What is this, and why is it more expensive than an average USB Cable
 This cable is not for syncing your Garmin GPS with your computer. This is a very special type of cable with a micro chip inside to support Powering your GPS from a USB Port and using it without the GPS going to PC SYNC MODE. So with this cable you can use any USB Battery Bank, Any USB Car Port, Any USB Port in a Motorcycle to power your GPS, charge the battery of your GPS and also use it at the same time. This means the image of a computer will NOT appear on your Garmin GPS screen and it will let you use the GPS as if it is plugged in with a car cigarette lighter adapter.
